Hello: Recently I see a process called parallel at the very top of top command results window. It uses more CPU than Xorg, my web browser, and everything else. PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND 1603 lp 20 0 40348 1656 1188 S 2.3 0.0 2:07.53 parallel What is parallel? The user who runs it is lp. Is it the parallel port? But why is it using the most CPU, when I haven't used anything using lp port? This is on openSUSE 12.2.
