It is a very nice and correct answer. Not everybody has always the time to spend time and search the exact answer, but have the time to give a pointer to where to find it. I could find in seconds the posts he referred to.

The latest release of calibre is 0.9.31. Please do not use your distribution provided calibre package, as those are often buggy/outdated. Instead use the Binary install described below.
And this has been answered here by knowledgeable people to take no heed of, for security reasons. I can give you the pointers, if you are interested.
