Please help!!! rr> I believe its a soundblaster compatible, and theres two ways to do it, one way is to use OSS which is all software based and available on the suse distro CD's, the other way is to compile the kernel with sound built in or as a module. I've always gone the later route and currently have it compiled as a module on my system. Take a look at the menuconfig for the kernel, especially the sound section, you should find all sorts of choices as well as a SB compatible choice, can't quite recall if theres actually a choice which refers to the 810 board itself though. rr> Raghav rr> rr> rr> -- S.Toms - tomas@primenet.com - www.primenet.com/~tomas SuSE Linux v6.3+ - Kernel 2.2.14 -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
