Guys,
I have run webpin several times on 11.3 and it always comes back
with "No results ..." Is it set up yet? Example:
11:30 zephyr:/home/backup/rpms/suse11.3> webpin kdelibs3 ... performing request on http://software.opensuse-community.org/ws/searchservice/Search/Simple/ope
nSUSE_113/kdeNo results found for "kdelibs3" in openSUSE_113
Now I know
kdelibs3 is in OBS, I installed it earlier and I can look
at it here:
http://opensuse.ca.unixheads.org/repositories/KDE:/KDE3/openSUSE_11.3/i58
6/kdelibs3-3.5.10-89.1.i586.rpm
but it doesn't show up in webpin....
What's up with that?
David,
ten days since your posting, and nothing changed :-( I still get no answers (other than "No results found") from webpin, just like you say, independent of the package I'm looking for. Very sad, webpin was such a nice tool.
Regards, Werner Why not use software.opensuse.org/search in the meantime?
http://software.opensuse.org/search?q=kdelibs3&baseproject=openSUSE%3A11.3&la ng=en&exclude_filter=home%3A&exclude_debug=true
Shows kdelibs being available.
When I use webpin, I am using a shell (or konsole). It is much more efficient to use another shell program instead of clicking on the browser, waiting two minutes until it is open, go to the website and enter the searched package there.
