No, what I'm saying is, that updates it does not X, may indeed be packages that ARE installed... I always check, and it's often wrong.
Ah, did you install any packages manually, using rpm at the command line? I know for sure that YaST2 does not track any packages installed that did not come on the SuSE CDs.
