Hola a todos: He seguido algunos pasos que me dieron algunos listeros (Miguel Noguera y Rafael Griman) * Puse el disco 40Gb en hda (PrimerMaestro), y el cdrom en hdd (Esclavo Secundario), cada uno con diferentes cables..... (Lo mas lejos uno del otro.... :) ) * Inicie con nobios en SuSE 9.1 (Probe con Server y luego con Personal) Resultado: Error de sectores en hdd (cdrom), y al llegar a la parte donde lee los paquetes dentro del yast (se queda muerto), reconoce el cpu, mouse, particiones y ahi se muere... cuando le doy [Change] para que revise de nuevo los paquetes a instalar me da que todos es ERROR......(no hay cpu, mouse, particiones); sale un mensaje de ERROR: NO PROPOSAL.... :( Quiero reparticionar utilizando el mismo yast, pero no me reconoce particiones y me sale el mismo error...... media error en hdd (si no quiero particionar el hdd) Otra solucion: * Arranque con Knoppix 3.4 en modo kernel 2.4.x y levanta todo (Excelente).... saque un volcado de hdparm -i /dev/hda, hdparm -I /dev/hda y dmesg (se los envio al final para que los vean)....(los copie a floppy) * Probe con el mismo Knoppix en modo 2.6.x y se queda muerto, me reconoce el usb, el video, el monitor, el sonido, pero al reconocer las particiones en /etc/fstab, queda congelado.... * Probe con 2.6.x en failsafe, se sigue muriendo en /etc/fstab..... * Probe con las opciones en 2.6.x (una por vez): noapm, noacpi, nomce??, noddc??, noswap, nousb, nopcmcia, nodma; con la unica que si pudo levantar el 2.6.x fue con nodma..... el reporte de hdparm es el mismo que el de 2.4.x [asi que el disco es visible correctamente en 2.4.x y 2.6.x (solo con nodma) ] Asi que el problema es que el disco debe cargar sin dma....(gotcha!!!) * Arranque el SuSE 9.1 con failsafe, y la opcion ide=nodma, y se muere en el mismo lugar (mmmmmmm)...... utilizando otra sesion no tengo acceso al hdparm (en suse 9.1) da error de falla de segmento, me imagino que es porque como aun no instala completamente y esta todo a medias..... viendo el dmesg y boot.msg me reconoce el disco como de 40gb ..... con los mismos C/H/S del Knoppix kernel24/kernel26; otro problema es que no tengo acceso al floppy, me dice que no hay sectores.... y no me deja desmontarlo/montarlo.... Algo interesante: * Probe incluso con el SuSE 7.1 accesar a una pequeña particion alla en el ultimo rincon de los 40gb, dentro de los 8gb que mi bios no reconoce ( y que doy por perdidos) y si puedo accesarlos, asi que error de bios...... no es....... con Knoppix en 2.4.x y 2.6.x igual puedo accesarlos.....
