wollte nun veruchen mit kppp die einwahl zu übernehmen ... da mir das mit sudo etc ... zu blöd ist aber im kppp kommt nach dem connect immer ... starte pppd und dann melde mich am netzwerk an ... und da gibts später nur mehr ein timeout ... woran kann das liegen ... /etc/ppp/options ist leer ... an den rechten sollte es auch nicht fehlen /usr/sbin/pppd ist kein script ... einwahl via kppp funkt auch als root nicht ... die einwahl via script klappt aber $ sudo /etc/suseppp/scripts/ppp-up generic ciao -- Um aus der Liste ausgetragen zu werden, eine Mail an majordomo@suse.com schicken, mit dem Text: unsubscribe suse-linux

Hi, das ist - fast - das gleiche Problem, das auch bei mir immer auftaucht, allerdings habe ich es (noch) nicht (wieder) mit kppp versucht, sondern so: YAST aufgerufen (klar, als root), Administration ..., Netzwerk, Grundkonfiguration. 0 X Modem PPP ppp0 0.0.0.0 194.25.2.129 steht da (sollte m.E. fr einen T-Online-Zugang richtig sein). Dann PPP-Netzwerk konfigurieren und nach "Kochbuch" die entsprechenden Daten fr T-Online eingetragen, Modem-Daten eingetragen, gespeichert, SuSEConfig luft ab, Rechner neu gebootet (ich weiss nicht, ob das ntig ist, aber ...) Sodann rufe ich (als root) /etc/suseppp/scripts/ppp-up auf, es wird eine Verbindung aufgebaut und (fast) sofort wieder abgebrochen. Zu der im SuSE-Handbuch und den Skripten angegebenen Nummer (0191011) bekomme ich _nie_ (auch unter OS/2 und dem anderen Kram) eine Verbindung. Die Skripte sind, soweit ich das, nach den Docs beurteilen kann, korrekt erstellt. Die Permissions sollte YAST wohl eigentlich richtig gesetzt haben, jedenfalls sehe ich mit ls - * in /etc/suseppp und /etc/suseppp/scripts jeweils 'root root' bzw. 'root dialout'. Ich bin fr jede Hilfe dankbar, denn ich weiss einfach nicht weiter.
