Hallo! Ich arbeite hier ein wenig mit Hylafax (Sendfax) und Linux und Windows in einem kleinen Netz. Es funktioniert unter dem Linuxrechner auch ganz gut. Unter Windows mit dem WHFC Client auch. Aber ich suche noch nach besseren Möglichkeiten, was ich mir wünschen würde, wäre folgendes: Ich habe Staroffice 5.0, ich möchte nun direkt aus SO drucken auf den Faxdrucker. Es passiert aber nichts, ich muss immer die Postscriptdatei in eine Datei schreiben und dan mit sendfax dazu bewegen zu faxen. Ich möchte das in einem Rutsch ermöglichen. Wie muss ch da vorgehen? Wunschbeispiel: Ich gebe in der Datei eine Variable für die Telefonnummer mit. Dann drucke ich auf den Faxdrucker und der Rest erledigt sich von selbst. Besser noch wäre es, Systemweit unter Linux einen Faxspooler zu haben, der halt auch als Drucker fungiert, aber das versenden von selbst vornimmt. Auch hier setze ich zb. eine Postscriptdatei mit Telefonnummervariable voraus. Nur wie bekomme ich eine Variable in die Postscriptdatei, damit Sendfax diese auswerten kann? Wunschbeispiel Windows: Ist es möglich in zum Beispiel einem Word oder Starofficedokument unter Windows, ein Dokument zu erstellen, in dem Dokument ist wieder die Variable für die Telefonnummer dieses dann als Postscript in eine Datei drucken und Hylafax bzw. Sendfax kümmert sich dann selbst um den Rest? Kurz: Ich möchte einfach nur schnell faxen können. Applix oder Staroffice nutzen, dort sagen Drucken auf zb. lpr -Pfax, mit Angabe der Telefonnummer im Dokument und los gehts. Sollte halt so effizient wie nur möglich sein.... Dickes Danke !! Es gibt ein Faxscript bei SO, welches genau diese Funktionalitaet bietet. Allerdings habe ich zur Zeit kein So installiert, daher kann ich nur auf das SO-Verzeichnis verweisen, Der Name war jedoch sehr eindeutig und afair gab es auch ein Readme dazu. Alternative unter Linux: Sendfax aus mgetty&Sendfax verwenden. Dafuer gibt es das Frontend "GFAX", welches man anstatt des normalen lpr ins System laengt. Wenn man dann auf den Drucker "fax" druckt, geht eine Box fuer die Eingabe der Rufnummer etc auf, wie unter Windowsfaxprogrammen. Mit Adressdatenbank etc. Der Vorteil: Es funktioniert ueberall in Linux und nicht *nur* in SO.

bei mail2fax gibt es entsprechende Methoden. Schau mal da rein, sollte bei sendfax dabeisein.

Schwierig, es sei denn Du schreibst einen Druckertreiber fuer Windows, der genau das macht. Eine Telefonnummer im Text wird vom Druckertreiber als normaler content behandelt.
