Installier bitte die SUN Pakete: java-1_6_0-sun java-1_6_0-sun-plugin Und danach musst du unbedingt update-alternatives --config java ausführen. Dann kannst du das GNU/Linux i586 / x86_64 Binary File von der Homepage von Tuxguitar herunterladen, entpacken und losarbeiten! Du hast doch openSUSE 11.4? Denn leider ist es da in keinem Repository. Und danach musst du unbedingt update-alternatives --config java ausführen.
There is only 1 program which provides java (/usr/lib/jvm/jre-1.6.0-sun/bin/java). Nothing to configure.

Der Fehler in deiner vorherigen Mail hat doch eindeutig auf einen Crash in der VM hingewiesen. Kannst du die Fehlermeldung mit dem momentan installierten Java nochmal posten?
