In der /etc/sysconfig/kernel steht:
MODULES_LOADED_ON_BOOT=" cdrom ide-cd ide-scsi"
Wenn Du beide Laufwerke ueber die ide-scsi Emulation betreibst,
dann kannst Du IMHO cdrom und ide-cd aus /etc/sysconfig/kernel
streichen und Dir eine neue initrd erstellen. Damit sind dann
Konflikte ausgeschlossen.
ich habe denn Abschint auskommentiert und den Rechne hochgefahren kein
Laufwerk wurde erkannt, deshalb habe ich es zurück gesetzt.
Nach dem endern der Datei menu.lst zeigt mir cdrecord -scanbus folgendes:

Das sieht soweit eigentlich gut aus. Schau beim Booten, an welche
Devices das DVD Laufwerk und das CD-RW gebunden werden (das sollte
der Treiber ausgeben)
Dazu eine Anmerkung. frühe habe ich Suse 7.3 verwendet da gabs kein
"Startbildschirm", weist Du wo kann ich den "Startbildschirm" unter Suse
8.2 "abschalten" so dass ich die Bootmeldugen sehe?
- dementsprechend muessen die Links /dev/dvd
und /dev/cdrom auf ein Device und /dev/cdrecorder auf ein anderes
Device gelinkt werden. Der User sollte zudem wohl in Gruppe disk
aufgenommen werden. Ueberpruefe die Rechte an den entsprechenden
Devices und an /dev/sg* (zum Brennen). Uebrigens sind /dev/scd? und
/dev/sr? identisch, wie Du auch anhand der Major- und Minor-Nummer
der Devices feststellen kannst. In der /etc/fstab sollten nur die
Links /dev/cdrom, /dev/dvd und /dev/cdrecorder verwendet werden;
das hast Du aber IIRC wieder korrigiert.
Der Ueser ist in der Gruppe disk:

Was läuft wider falch :-( ?
Schwer zu sagen, weil Du die genaue Fehlermeldung nicht lieferst.
Schau erst einmal, dass die Device-Links richtig sind und dass Du
als User eine eingelegte CD im DVD-Laufwerk und im CD-R-Laufwerk
ordentlich mounten kannst. Wenn das geht, dann ist das schon mal
gut. Dann liegt das Problem entweder bei der k3b-Konfiguration oder
wahrscheinlich bei der Rechtevergabe. Schaun wir mal...
Also folgendes ist noch Passiert, am Sonntag bin ich noch leider auf die Idee gekommen die Partionene zusammen zufügen das habe ich auch gemacht, :-( danach musste ich Linux neu installieren, jetzt sind einige Paritinsbezeichnug anders, das nur zu Information.
Jetzt zur k2b, beide Laufwerke wurden doppelt erkannt beim User und beim kopieren habe ich dieses Mal folgende Fehlermeldung bekommen:
