(aktuellste Version). Danach geht weder Maus noch Tastatur. Es hilft nur 5s auf den Power-Knopf zudrücken. Habe nun mal in den /var/log/messages nachgesehen und als letzter Eintrag steht dort immer:
Die /var/log/Xorg.0.log ist vermutlich in dem Fall nützlicher. Sind einige Warnings drin und nur die Sachen wenn der X-Server startet. Also nicht während des Betriebes wenn der Fehler auftritt. Hier die Warnings:

Die Frage ist auch, wie hast Du das Teil eingerichtet, mit dem fglrxconfig tool (erzeugt AFAIK keine korrekte Konfigurationsdatei für x.org, hat aber all die Parameter drin), oder mit Sax2 (erzeugt zwar korrekte Konfigurationsdateien für x.org, es fehlen aber die Parameter). Für eine Ordentlich ATI-Treiber Konfiguation muss man beides kombinieren.

Aber wie gesagt, las die Finger weg vom ATI-Treiber, ich versuch es mit jeder Version wieder mit meinem Notebook und jedes mal geb ich es nach kurzer Zeit wieder auf (aktuell wegen massiver Darstellungsfehler wenn Tooltypes angezeigt werden und gescrollt wird - bei Eclipse hab ich dann regelmäßig nur noch Datenschrott auf dem Schirm).

21:49:57 beginnt wahrscheinlich der reboot. Hatte danach sofort auch wieder eingeschalten. Nun habe ich gelesen, dass 'su: (to bja) root on none' irgendwas mit cron zutun hat unter Umständen. Habe dann alles was unter cron.daily stand per Hand mal ausgeführt als user. Der Rechner stürzte aber nicht ab. Dachte anfangs, dass es was mit dem fglrx zu tun hat. Aber ich zweifle etwas daran. Hat jemand irgendwelche Ideen?
