Mich würde es interessieren, was sein kann, wenn mir Lilo beim Booten spinnt. Normalerweise sollte ja LILO boot: kommen, aber bei mir lese ich nur LIL- und dann hängt sich der Rechner auf, und ich muss über die Bootdiskette starten. Kann das daher kommen, dass ich das komplette Linux auf einer leistungsfähigeren Maschine installiert habe (wegen dem Ram), und jetzt die Festplatte in einen 486-er eingebaut habe? Als Kernel habe ich aber sowieso den Standard-IDE-Kernel verwendet, also müßte es funktionieren. Für jeden Ratschlag wäre ich sehr dankbar. mfg Mike Schön
