Hallo,
das Elend liegt alleine an XP-Home, nicht an Samba.
Versuch es mal mit XP Professional, dann geht es.

Hallo Leute,
ich hab hier ein echtes Problem mit Samba ?oder? WinXp-Home.
folgender Zustand:
-> SuSE9.1 als Server mit Samba 3.0.4 ( IP=192.168.1.1 ) -> als Client ein
Laptop mit WindowsXP-Home ( IP=192.168.1.5 ) -> auf dem Server die Firewall
deaktiviert -> auf dem Laptop die Firewall deaktiviert -> auf dem Laptop
ein Benutzerkonto mit dem Usernamen "tux" mit
Passwort erstellt, Computername = "Laptop", Arbeitsgruppe = "NETZ"
-> auf dem Server ein Maschinenkonto mit "smbpasswd -am laptop$" erstellt,
und
einen User mit "smbpasswd -a tux" erstellt, dieser ist auch
Linux-User,
als Passwort wurde das gleiche wie unter WinXP angegeben.
-> auf dem Linux-Server ein Verzeichnis "/samba/verz" erstellt und als
share "[samba]" freigegeben.
Sowohl das Verzeichnis "/samba" als auch dessen Unterverzeichnis
"verz"
den Zugriffsmodus "777" gesetzt.
Nun stellt sich mir folgendes Problem:
auf dem Laptop kann ich die Freigaben sehen, aber der Zugriff wird
verweigert, egal was ich mache, ich komme weder schreibend noch lesend auf
die Freigaben.
Wenn ich mir die Samba-Protokolle ansehe, sollte doch alles i.O sein?
(smb.conf im Anhang)
einzig auffaellig ist die "/var/log/warn"
