Das das Setzen von min/max prococol = SMB2 völliger Krampf ist, weißt Du mittlerweile ja schon.
Da ich ähnliches Problem hier habe (eine XP läuft noch sehr sporadisch in einer VM), dachte ich mir, guckst Du halt mal nach was Sache ist.
Also, der langen Rede kurzer Sinn,
ntlm auth = yes

ntlm auth = yes
Server ist eine Leap 15.0 in einer VM, der Parameter hilft meinem Debian Stretch Server ebenfalls auf die Sprünge Jau, ntlm auth = yes könnte helfen, ist so ungefähr seid der badlock-lücke eine häufig genannte Notlösung für so ein Problem, weil die Standards diesbezüglich geändert wurden. Wenn es funktioniert wäre es andersherum sinnvoll zu versuchen, ntlmv2 in der XP-Kiste zu aktivieren. Siehe https://support.symantec.com/en_US/article.HOWTO54187.html ...und die diesbezüglichen Parameter wieder aus der smb.conf zu entfernen..
