Moin Moin, ich habe mir den 2.4.18er Kenrnel mit dem aktuellen ACPI-Patch kompiliert. Jetzt habe ich noch ein paar kleiner Probleme: Ich möchte auf der Konsole eine höhere Auflösung durch FrameBuffer. Dazu habe ich vga=0x305 in der lilo.conf stehen. Bei dem neuen Kernel hat das allerdings keinen Effekt. Was muß denn noch mit in meinen Kernel, daß es funtkioniert? Dann sind da noch einige fehlende Modul. In der /var/log/messages steh folgendes: modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module char-major-4 Wofür ist denn das Modul und wo finde ich es. Wenn es nicht wichtig ist, kann es doch auch einfach in modules.conf auskommentieren, oder? Mein PCMCIA funktioniert auch nicht: rcpcmcia: /sbin/insmod /lib/modules/2.4.16-4GB/kernel/drivers/pcmcia/pcmcia_core.o rcpcmcia: /sbin/insmod /lib/modules/2.4.16-4GB/kernel/drivers/pcmcia/pcmcia_core.o rcpcmcia: /sbin/insmod /lib/modules/2.4.16-4GB/kernel/drivers/pcmcia/yenta_socket.o rcpcmcia: /sbin/insmod /lib/modules/2.4.16-4GB/kernel/drivers/pcmcia/pcmcia_core.o rcpcmcia: /sbin/insmod /lib/modules/2.4.16-4GB/kernel/drivers/pcmcia/ds.o cardmgr[289]: starting, version is 3.1.28 cardmgr[289]: modpath = /lib/modules/2.4.16-4GB cardmgr[289]: modsubdir = pcmcia cardmgr[289]: watching 1 sockets cardmgr[289]: Card Services release does not match cardmgr[289]: could not adjust resource: IO ports 0xc00-0xcff: Device or resource busy cardmgr[289]: could not adjust resource: IO ports 0x800-0x8ff: Device or resource busy cardmgr[289]: could not adjust resource: IO ports0x100-0x4ff: Device or resource busy cardmgr[289]: could not adjust resource: memory 0xc0000-0xfffff: Input/output error cardmgr[289]: could not adjust resource: memory 0x60000000-0x60ffffff: Input/output error cardmgr[289]: could not adjust resource: memory 0xa0000000-0xa0ffffff: Input/output error cardmgr[289]: could not adjust resource: IO ports 0xa00-0xaff: Device or resource busy Tja, eigentlich dachte ich, daß alles funktionieren müßte, aber irgendwie habe ich wohl doch einiges falsch gemacht - aber mein ACPI geht mit gepatchtem BIOS *stolz Gruß & Danke Thilo
