aus /usr/share/doc/packages/alse/README.SuSE: You can update the ALSA kernel modules either [...] 2) by installing an alsa-driver package. The alsa-driver package is released usually by ALSA maintainers, and not stored on the official SuSE update directory. It contains a "snap-shot" version. The alsa-driver package will be found at ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/people/tiwai and get the RPM files from the distribution directory. For installation, please read and follow the instruction there. Das Packet funktioniert recht gut. Musst ich erst heute fuer den neuen 2.4.6 Kernel installieren. Hol Dir am besten das Binaer-rpm und das Source-rpm. (Ausser wenn Du das Source-rpm selber noch mal Kompilieren willst. Das machst Du mit 'rpm --rebuild <packet>'. Und dann in /usr/src/packages/RPMS/ ein 'rpm -i <alsa-ich-weiss-nicht-mehr-was>'). entpacke dann das Source-rpm mit 'rpm -i <packet>'. Unter /usr/src/packages/SOURCES wirst Du dann die Quellen von alsa UND den Modulen haben. Lade Dir dann das alsa-driver-specs-<version>.tar.gz Packet runter, entpacke es und kopiere die Datei i386/alsa-driver-deflt.spec nach /usr/src/packages/SPECS/. In diesem Verzeichnis tippst Du dann 'rpm -ba alsa-driver-deflt.spec' ein. zum Schluss gibst Du dann noch 'depmod -a' ein (ich bin mir nicht sicher ob das wirklich notwendig ist, schaded aber nicht), und Du bist fertig.
