Dann trage mal ein: relayhost = [smtp.ionos.de] also ohne :587 und versuche es nochmal.
systemctl status postfix bringt direkt nach dem

Erst einmal eine Entschuldigung das ich mich jetzt erst melde! Wenig Zeit durch Arbeit und Familie!!!
Vergiss das, was ich gesagt habe - der Ernst hat recht! 1und1 nimmt die Email nicht an weil die Authentifizierung nicht klappt!
Versuche einmal:
#echo "Hallo" | mailx -r xxxxxxxx@yyyyyyyyy.info lothar@s522116222.online.de
Das -r xxxxxxxx@yyyyyyyyy.info gibt an, dass Du die Email mit dieser Kennung an 1und1 übergibst. Das Passwort dazu hast Du in der /etc/postfix/sasl_passwd abgelegt!
Es ist möglich das die Kennung xxxxxxxx@yyyyyyyyy.info in postfix mit Deinen Benutzern gemappt werden muss damit Du ohne -r senden kannst! Ich weiß aber im Moment nicht wo.
