Hhmmm, hab' ich gelesen, deshalb meine Anschlußfrage:
Bedeutet dies der APM-Kernel bzw. der Standart-Kernel ist nicht Pentium optimiert? (Ich dachte schon.)
Falls der SuSE Standard-Kernel installiert ist, schau mal in /boot/vmlinuz.config, das ist die Konfig dazu. Die Konfig des aktuell laufenden Kernels kann (zumindest bei den neueren Kerneln) auch mit "less /proc/config.gz" angeschaut werden. Da solltest Du ziemlich zu Beginn der Datei dann feststellen, fuer welches System Dein Kernel optimiert ist. Gruesse Thomson -- Dipl.-Geophys.
