Ich verwende den 7.3 Standard-Kernel. Ich seh gerade, das mein COntroller vom System als AHA294x/AIC-7871 erkannt wird und im Kernel die Unterstützung für AIC7xxx-Support deaktiviert.
Dann wäre das fest im Kernel oder eben das Modul in die initrd. Dazu in /etc/rc.config die Variable INITRD_MODULES um aic7xxx ergänzen. Dann die /boot/initrd mit mk_initrd neu erzeugen lassen. Neu booten und das Modul sollte nun automatisch geladen werden.
Huh, das wird spannend. Ich hab erst einmal einen neuen Kernel gebacken und das ist über ein Jahr her.
Nicht notwendig, wenn Du das Modul noch mit in die initrd packst.
