I'm merging zypp.pot to make an offending msgid go away. See https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=380571 , and more often. -- Karl Eichwalder R&D / Documentation SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nuernberg) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-translation+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-translation+help@opensuse.org
ATM, I'm running an update-desktop-files merge. I do not whether there will real changes, though. At least, I detected a new package and one or the other issue is probably fixed now. -- Karl Eichwalder R&D / Documentation SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nuernberg) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-translation+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-translation+help@opensuse.org
In x11.pot (part of yast) several untagged messages were found. I'm just about merging the yast strings again. We detected several missing strings and fixed serious message related issues. To work around normal and minor issues such as typos, we will install English overloads in en_GB and en_US files. -- Karl Eichwalder R&D / Documentation SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nuernberg) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-translation+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-translation+help@opensuse.org

Viewing the Roadmap I assume for yast it will be the Monday 26.5. = the check-in deadline for RC1. But lcn have to be packed separately by package maintainers before RC1. So I think Beta2 was the last chance. Maybe it will be released a maintenance update with yast translations some time after 11.0 release as it was done for 10.3. In fact, almost the entire 50-pot directory is bad, I think. Some files have not been updated in months! Some might not have seen an update since they do not see active development anymore. I'm sure that kinternet has not been touched at all. The others might be ok as well but we should check with the developers. Karl, will you do this? I probably forgot to check in the POTs :-( I'll do it later today.

Unfortunately, we depend on input or feedback supplied by the developers. If wanted, I can change the strategy–see below.
Some might not have seen an update since they do not see active development anymore. I'm sure that kinternet has not been touched at all.
Yes, see the MAINTAINERS in 50-pot. I was told to keep kinternet as-is, maintainerless. I probably will not accept such things any longer...
The others might be ok as well but we should check with the developers. Karl, will you do this?
Sure. For the record, at the beginning and end of every translation cycle I send notifications to the maintainers listed in the MAINTAINERS file. I think I'd better re-phrase my mail asking for explicit feedback. If a maintainer does not answer for three times in a row, I could either remove the POT file or try to give him a call or something like that. But all this eats quite some time... Of course, I will not remove a file, if I know for sure that we still need it ;) Otherwise, if you think something is outdated, please open a bug report. That's always the most reliable way to track an issue. --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-translation+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-translation+help@opensuse.org

I'm merging the files once again. I forgot to merge zypper. After updating zypper.pot, that's now done. I did some RELEASE-NOTES editing and decided to update the respective POT in suse-i18n, too. It is now worth starting with the RELEASE-NOTES, but I still expect changes. -- Karl Eichwalder R&D / Documentation SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nuernberg) --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-translation+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-translation+help@opensuse.org
