hi there.
i am hannysabbagh, one of the arabic users for opensuse, i have already contacted the opensuse translations mailing list to translate this page: http://software.opensuse.org/114/en
into the arabic language,i was kind of busy in the last time, but today i have finished the file: http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?j4kuxuba6ms8442
i didn't see an arabic team to send the file,i hope someone can get this file online, otherwise i am ready to create a team if you want.
thanks.
The translation needs to be done in the process around i18n.opensuse.org or otherwise said the svn repository on svn.berlios.de. So look on the i18n website to find more information. Currently there is no team listed for Arabic. It is the file software-opensuse-org.ar.po in lcn.

I used to work in Yemen, so I know a little about the Arabic world, but don't speak or read Arabic. I assume the reason is that you have to use svn+ssh and ssh is encrypting your traffic, which obviously can't be listen in.
2- and because it is forbidden i can't create a team for arabic..and i can't get the files online
You can have a team, but you can't commit any translation.
3- the best thing in my opinion is like that simple,i send the files to someone who can put it online, and he take care of it,or any other solution will be good..
In this case I can help you. You just have to agree that I do your commits and my account will be authorized to do these commits, but you are the team leader and you send your files as attachments to an email message. I will only accept translations from you.
4- thanks.

http://www.vertaal.com.ar/ You get an account, and you can upload/download files. I think you need a team admin, too. You do not need access to the svn. You might need https, though, I'm unsure. - -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R.
