Hi all, In openSUSE, some man pages are translated and some are not, but nothing in i18n SVN server. So, it should be "upstream" but where openSUSE get the translations of man pages ? I have some man pages translated whereas man-pages-LL is not installed! (For example: "man man" in french) Cheers, Guillaume -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-translation+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-translation+owner@opensuse.org

A lot of GNU packets, including some man pages are translated in the translation project (short TP) on http://translationproject.org/ So you might take a look there. -- fr.gr. Man pages? I saw none the last time I looked. - -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. Most of software that allow translation of manpages often include the manpages strings in the same .po file as the software UI strings. Bye

That's a sore subject with me. There is no _good_ software for doing man pages and their translation, and there are no translators doing man pages, as far as I know. The translation project robot handles .po of gnu programs, but nothing said about the man pages. There was a project to coordinate translation of man pages, I think the mails must be here in the archive somewhere, but they were only interested in translating kernel man pages.
