I enter one "typo" in a bug report. It is not necessary to keep that one open. You can always enter some comment, which could be another typo. One time I got the comment not to enter two issues in one bug report, but that was with a non-translation related issue. Entering more than one "typo" in a bug report has not raised any comment this far. But I don't enter anything more after it has been assigned to a maintainer.
I usually type my findings on an editor, or as comments on the .po file.
