Hi,
As you might be aware, we changed the way openSUSE is built from an internally developed toolset to the external build service reachable to everyone.
Now that caused some problems with the way we extract the desktop files - and I only noticed after returning from parenty leave.
I fixed the underlying problem, but now you will see tons of new strings. But good news is: the desktops will now purely rely on the po files, so we can easily do online updates if you want to polish a string after 11.1.
Most of these new strings come with upstream translations already merged in, but I noticed that e.g. gnome-screensaver does not have upstream translations for the screensaver comments. So please check revision 40841 - we're talking about a complete rewrite of the mechanism.

Que han cambiado el build y ha causado problemas que se han dado cuenta tarde por lo que hay toneladas de líneas nuevas -por traducir-. Cojonudo!

por el lado bueno, ahora si puede hacer actualizaciones en estos update-desktop-files-* hasta después de lo lanzamiento de la versión final, ya que arreglaran el bug y cambiaran la forma como se extraían las mesages. Y las toneladas de mesages nuevos no son tantas así (muchas de ellas vienen con la traducción de "upstream" (si concuerdo que ellas deberían venir marcadas como fuzzy)

Estoy de acuerdo. La última propuesta era una locura (notificar los cambios upstream), ésta es más costosa pero razonable.

Esperemos que no sean tantos... aún no han hecho el "merge" de los nuestros :-}

Na, que este señor ha estado de baja de paternidad, y al volver se dió cuenta que había un error en el subsistema de extración de los archivos desktop (al pasar de un sistema interno de generación a usar el buildservice), y al corregirlo han aparecido cientos de mensajes nuevos o sin traducir.
Y por otra parte, la buena noticia es que esta vez si se van a usar verdaderos ficheros po en las traduciones, lo que permitirá hacer actualizaciones: recuerda que antes sólo se podía hacer durante la instalación.

Esto es que dice que la mayoría de los nuevos vienen traducidos de arriba, blablabla... que comprobemos la revisión 40841.

Si han aparecido y ya están traducidos bien, pero si no han aparecido hay que avisarles del problema.

Han aparecido hoy... pero no son "cienes", sólo unos cuantos en cada archivo.
Si han aparecido y ya están traducidos bien, pero si no han aparecido hay que avisarles del problema.
