Distro upgrade to which version, 11.2 RC2?
I ran 'zypper dup' from 11.2 RC1 yesterday on both my machines, i586 and x86_64. This 1GB upgrade resulted in the newest kernel 2.6.31.5-01-desktop. However, KDE4 My_Computer>Sysinfo:/ still says openSUSE 11.2 RC1. And /etc/SuSE-release tells 11.2 only. Isn't it possible to get confirmed what the exact version of the current system is, Beta, RC as well as Final release? RC2 should not say anymore RC AFAIK, so the My Computer is wrong - and on my system it also says "11.2" without RC in it. Betas and RC1 say their version, the last RC should be good enough to ship and therefore not have "RC" anywhere.

Ok, I see. I guess there is no easy way to let 'zypper dup' edit the title in 'menu.lst', especially not in a multiboot setup, and that we have edit "RC1" there manually (?) Rgds, Terje J.
