YaST2 software manager looses its repo-list
I have always preferred the classical (qt based) and more feature rich YaST2 Software Manager also on Gnome desktop. It has however what to me looks as a confusing glitch: it temporary looses the repository list after looking into the online update configuration section. It can be reproduced by the following demo: 1. Start the YaST2 Software Manager with root access in a terminal /sbin/yast2 sw_single --qt 2. View the current repository list (Ctrl+R) Configuration > Repositories <Cansel> 3. View current Online Update Configuration (Ctrl+O) Configuration > Online Update <Cansel> or <OK> 4. View the repo list as 2. again (Ctrl+R) The repo list is gone (empty) (There will neither be found any package updates) Restarting the the software manager as 1. again, the repo list is found again, and packages can be updated as normal. Isn't this a bug that should be reported and fixed? Thanks, Terje J.
