I've previously installed and used NoMachine's NX client on openSUSE 10.x, 11.1 and SLED11. During NX session setup the wizard's preset is to create a NX session launcher on the Gnome desktop. (i.e containing the command: /usr/NX/bin/nxclient --session "/home/terje/.nx/config/nt-nows.nxs")
On 11.2 Mx and RC I was first confused as it looked like the current NX client v.3.4.0 didn't run on this platform. The launcher looked like a white text document on the desktop, not as the normal colored [!M] icon. Trying to launch this white icon brought up the following warning message:
"Untrusted application launcher The application launcher "nt-nows.desktop" has not been marked as trusted. If you do not know the source of this file, launching it may be unsafe" <Launch Anyway> <Mark as trusted> <Cansel>
Only after selecting <Mark as trusted> the desktop icon got the red active !M, so that it could be started correctly.
As I haven't experienced this behaviour on other SUSE versions before I wonder:
1. Is this a bug or a deliberated change in Gnome 2.28 for some or another (security) reason?
2. Might this stem from the fact that /home is kept common since and for 11.1, sled11 and now 11.2 in a multiboot setup. I've tried to delete the previous ~.nx/config and create new sessions under 11.2, but this does no matter.
Thanks, Terje J. Hanssen

And it is present in KDE too.
