I'm still trying to get my NVidia to work with RC2. For some reason
the xorg.conf copied from 11.4 to 12.1 RC2 didn't work and I gave up
for the evening. I'll be back at it tomorrow, however. I think I may
also have some network / DHCP timeout issues - the wired eth0 comes up
eventually but it thrashes a bit in the process and I'm not sure
what's going on.

: use the kernel from "factory"?
Yes.
done, did not make any difference.
ps: please include kernel-devel or the nvidia driver will not install for the new kernel and the stock/standard driver limits the screen to 1024x768.
note: "nomodeset" kernel boot parameter was required for the beta, didn't test for RC1 but is not necessary for RC2 on my Acer 5520.
