With GRUB 2.04 finally supporting btrfs with zstd compression, I was thinking of switching my OS disk to that algorithm. I ran a quick test install of a VM with zstd'ed btrfs with Tumbleweed, and it failed to boot in a BIOS install but worked with UEFI. This seems to be the cause: https://build.opensuse.org/package/view_file/openSUSE:Factory/grub2/0001-btr... Does this mean that using btrfs with zstd compression is fine when using UEFI? regards
