My Epson printer will try to print on a European size instead of letter with source material that does not explicitly specify to use letter (8.5 x 11 inches). The LaserJet is OK with the US size. Where and how should I change the default size for the Epson printer, please? --doug

Hi Does the printer have a LCD and menu system? If so set the default paper size in here... That will at least confirm if it's a printer driver issue. -- Cheers Malcolm °¿° SUSE Knowledge Partner (Linux Counter #276890) Tumbleweed 20210131 | GNOME Shell 3.38.3 | 5.10.9-1-default Intel DQ77MK MB | Xeon E3-1245 V2 X8 @ 3.40 GHz | Intel/Nvidia up 1 day 18:51, 2 users, load average: 0.82, 1.15, 0.93

No, the issue is (apparently) that the printer default is Letter and contains Letter sized paper - as normal in North America - but CUPS is configured to default to A4. Maybe the locale is set wrong. -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. (from 15.2 x86_64 at Telcontar)
