Hello! As per subject: 1) bluetooth applet stop starting at login and now I get no any icon on my system tray. Tried to put blueman-tray or blueman-applet into start/session/auto-start without any success! 2) Cannot set a specific avatar per user into lightdm greeter, I feel that it could be improved providing a more flexible editing not just for the default setting but including a per user feature. Hello Marco, XFCE is not fully updated to the new release 4.18 yet. Packages are on the way, which might be the reason Viele Grüße Axel -- Diese Nachricht wurde von meinem Android-Tablet mit K-9 Mail gesendet. Am 26. Dezember 2022 18:32:13 MEZ schrieb Marco Calistri <PY1ZRJ@outlook.com>:

Hi Axel! BTW I've been able to set both my bullet points: For the Bluetooth applet in system tray, I created a new file into my autostart DIRECTORY: ~.config/autostart/Bluetooth.desktop [Desktop Entry] Encoding=UTF-8 Version=0.9.4 Type=Application Name=Bluetooth Comment= Exec=blueman-applet OnlyShowIn=XFCE; RunHook=0 StartupNotify=false Terminal=false Hidden=false For Lightdm greeter, I understood that I need to put a specific ".face" file into the user homedir and such file must be a png image, as the one choose to be the user's avatar. So far so good :-) -- Marco Calistri Build: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20221225 Kernel: 6.1.0-1-default - XFCE: (4.18.0)

the upgrade to Xfce 4.18 did unfortunately not went as coordinated as it should have. A couple of programs (such as xfce4-panel) will only be included in the next snapshot 20221225; please check 1) again when you upgraded to that snapshot. Is issue 2) new since the partial Xfce 4.18 release? Do you know about lightdm-gtk-greeter-settings? It wouldn't solve the issue by itself, but it might help with your situation.
Thanks!
Season's Greetings!
Thanks, same to you! Cheers. l8er manfred

Thanks Manfred! I already answer to Axel through my previous answer! If possible lightdm-greeter-settings could be enhanced a bit IMHO, to become more featured and flexible :-) Best regards! -- Marco Calistri Build: openSUSE Tumbleweed 20221225 Kernel: 6.1.0-1-default - XFCE: (4.18.0)
