IIRC Doug indicated before that YaST saw the machine but not the driver, and another time, saw it with a wrong driver. He apparently is using the scanner though; can an AIO be seen as a scanner but not as a printer?
As you may observe from my latest messages, the Epson printer is now working, but the scanner is not, and has not. I need it to work, of course. (It works on an old PCLOS laptop.) And I need the HP LaserJet to work also, but one thing at a time. --doug
In former (TM) days I used to juggle areound with xsane and Epson GT5000 Scanners...in between mist scanners have network interfaces. So I have a SMB share on my local server where the scanner immediately writes the scanned document into. Much more convenient than working with a scanner program. You may want to check if this is an option Cheers Axel -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-support+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-support+owner@opensuse.org
