There are several reasons I may become concerned if a repo file has been changed. I manage mine with MC and FCL, and don't want anything messing with them.
What could possibly change a repo file?
It happens, such as when the mirrors are fubar, and zypper decides to disable a repo it can't update, or 4 additional repos get added that duplicate existing repos with less stupid names than repo-....repo. -- Evolution as taught in public schools is, like religion, based on faith, not based on science.
