I chose Tumbleweed BECAUSE it is a rolling release. That means that if I ever get it working, I won't have to install a new Linux next year or some other time down the line, and start over.
If you use TW it means you will be installing new Linux every time you update. Not once in two years, but three times a week.
That depends on your interpretation of "install". A zypper dup while providing an equivalent result to a fresh installation, is hardly the bother that a fresh installation or upgrade process using a DVD, NET boot or USB stick installation entails. Linux is the kernel, not the distro. Every TW release does not include a newer kernel than the last. -- Evolution as taught in public schools is religion, not science. Team OS/2 ** Reg.
