is kernel 5.8.5 even available for leap 15.1?
Well, it is nominally available (repo Kernel:/stable/standard) but is not installable in 15.1 due to the change in compression used (unless you use Manfred's technique described earlier in this thread).
The last that was 'normally' installable in 15.1 without recompiling rpm is what I currently have running, 5.8.3-1.
sounds like Tw would be a better fit. -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri Photos: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/piwigo paka @ IRCnet freenode -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-support+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-support+owner@opensuse.org
