There has been some correspondence on the net that says that after update, the system won't boot. Is this going to be a problem with this version?
Please advise. --doug
I see there is a new "snapshot" dated 28 June, with some problem areas. In this time of transition, I wonder if I should wait for a new system possibly a few more days ahead? Or I could install a year-old system like I had before, and wait long hours (!!!) for the upgrades to be accomplished. In the meantime, I actually have a real old Linux on a different machine that I can use in the interim, altho a couple of things don't work. I can sit this out for a while if that is advisable.
