Hi all,
for editing older Corel files in CDR format (version 11) on openSUSE the importing results with inkscape were not sufficient, so I tried to install Sk1.
I tried to install sk1 (Python-Based Vector Drawing Program) provided at: https://software.opensuse.org/download/package?package=sk1&project=openSUSE %3ALeap%3A15.1[1]
Unfortunately during the installation of the necessary 10 packages one package cannot> not be provided: inkscape-extensions-skencil-0.92.4-lp151.56.3.x86_64.rpm
The system messages during installation are:
linux-4t6d: # zypper install sk1-2.0~rc2-lp151.3.3.x86_64.rpm Repository-Daten werden geladen... Installierte Pakete werden gelesen... Paketabhängigkeiten werden aufgelöst...

Hi Andrei, sorry for the inconvenience that I posted the code in german language.

I could not find any source for the above mentioned repo.
I do not understand this sentence. The source of this repo is https://download.opensuse.org/repositories/graphics/openSUSE_Leap_15.1/ as is clearly printed by zypper.
I would appreciate to get an answer about this question and any possible further assistance.
sk1 in grpahics repo is not built anymore because it was dropped due to python2 dependency:
786789 State:accepted By:dimstar_suse When:2020-04-19T19:42:42 delete: openSUSE:Factory/sk1 Descr: Latest git still requires python2, we have 3 years old version at it so remove for now and can be reintroduced when based on python3.
So binaries that are available in repository are the last version published before this package was dropped.
In the meantime according to inksscape changelog inkscape-extensions-skencil was dropped too:

- Remove the inkscape-extensions-dia and inkscape-extensions-skencil packages: the extensions were removed upstream. So you have outdated sk1 package with outdated dependencies which are nor more provided by currently published versions.
Why did you need to install from graphics repository in the first place? As far as I can tell, sk1 package is included in standard Leap 15.1, there is no need to use external repositories. Remove graphics repo and simply install sk1.
It was obvious that sk1 is a package developed in the deprecated python2. Even though I did not found the specific hints for discontinuation of development. My intention was to find quick a possibility to work with respectively transform .CDR files created with CorelDraw 10 and 11 under inkscape. Meanwhile I found one possibility to fix my specificworking/ transforming problem without larger losses. Open .CDR multipages file with libreofficedraw extract one page after the other, then export in .svg file, afterwards editing with inkscape. A little bit inconvenient but it works somehow... ;-) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-support+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-support+owner@opensuse.org
