SUSE Firewall 2 , if so I got this from Marc@suse.de and it said that there are config files that need to be changed.
Yes, you need to tweak firewall2.rc.config to match your needs but you knew that of course ... ;)
I found a file called firewall2-custom.rc.config
Here you can place stuff that isn't covered by the conventional setup. I have there rules that drop inbound pakets on ports like 1214 and a few more that get constantly scanned and clutter up my firewall.log.
Do I need to copy these entries into the firewall2.rc.config for them to work or is there another setting I need to change for these to work.
The last entry #25 in firewall2.rc.config tells the script to look into the firewall2-custom.rc.config dont forget START_FW2=YES and START_FW=NO in /etc/rc.config and finally a run of SuSEconfig
