Question about new Samba packages

Hi, Are the new samba-packages for all of the SuSE Linux versions an update of the problem reported by Bob Vickers or is this yet another security issue in the smb-packages? (I refer to the samba-2.2.5-171 package for 8.1 that is published on the site.
