Starting September 1, 2011, regular maintenance updates and patches for SUSE Linux Enterprise 9 (including security patches) will no longer be issued to SUSE Linux Enterprise subscription holders. Customers are encouraged to update their SUSE Linux Enterprise 9 servers and desktops to SUSE Linux Enterprise 10 or 11, in order to continue to receive regular maintenance updates, patches and technical support (if customers have subscribed to standard or priority support). Self Support For customers that wish to continue using SUSE Linux Enterprise 9, web-based support resources will be available until August 2014.
