I have recently rebuilt my computer and shoved the above card in it. I have been running the latest git head for a few weeks, and just updated today as well. I only have two problems that I can really report: - I cannot use my VTs once the radonhd driver is loaded. Before then, during boot, I can see VT's fine, once GDM starts up X I can no longer see anything. My monitor reports "signal out of range" when I switch to a VT. - The Gnome screen res applet doesn't seem to want to give me options other than: 1280x800 1280x768 1024x768 800x600 640x480 I can see the card detecting other possible modes in the log file, but even if I set up an xorg.conf with those modelines added to it I cannot get them to work right now. My only other problem is that I can't wait for 3D support so that I can use MythTV again. :-) Attached xorg.conf and Xorg log Please let me know if you'd like any other information or if there's anything you want me to try. I'm quite happy to pull down the latest versions of things, even if I do have to beat Ubuntu around the head. When did you notice that, what caused this? Updating of hardware of driver to git version? -- Rafał Miłecki

Sorry, maybe I wasn't clear. I have never been able to use any VTs once the radeonhd driver is loaded. They've never worked for me. The fglrx/VESA drivers do though, and I can see VTs before GDM starts up whilst ubuntu is booting. n -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: radeonhd+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: radeonhd+help@opensuse.org
