Rudi, please try the patch below.
yes, that helps (after making it compile, that is).
struct rhdAtomOutputDeviceList *OutputDeviceList = NULL; needs to go before the if...else... structure, then it compiles and runs perfectly. Thanks a lot !!! (since this morning not only mplayer
Right. I've fixed that, made sure it builds and pushed the code, now.
but also other applications ran into this, so this patch actually makes me able to use X11 at all ...).
;) Rudi, thanks for testing! Have you finally retired the fglrx driver after you can play videos accelerated, now? ;) Cheers, Egbert. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: radeonhd+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: radeonhd+help@opensuse.org

Have you finally retired the fglrx driver after you can play videos accelerated, now? ;) using it already for three or four weeks now, it's pretty impressive how far you guys got.
Last issue for me is to get s2ram working, but I'm not even completely sure that's an xserver issue. -- with kind regards (mit freundlichem Grinsen), Ruediger Oertel (ro@novell.com,ro@suse.de,bugfinder@t-online.de) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Linux MacBookRudi 2.6.27-rc8-14-default #1 SMP 2008-10-08 10:30:20 +0200 x86_64 Key fingerprint = 17DC 6553 86A7 384B 53C5 CA5C 3CE4 F2E7 23F2 B417 SUSE LINUX Products GmbH, GF: Markus Rex, HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: radeonhd+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: radeonhd+help@opensuse.org
