I've been looking to build a MythTV frontend, driving the TV's Scart input from the VGA port (there's a well known circuit for this), but this can be achieved only if the card and driver support timings with low dotclocks and interlacing via the VGA port. I have a working set up with an old Radeon 9000, but that card is unsuitable for various reasons. I want to use a F-190HD mobo with built in Xpress 1250. I thought I had it all sussed until I realised there were two different drivers: radeon and radeonhd, but now I have no real idea whether the Xpress 1250 is likely to support PAL timings, or even - if it does - whether they would be available via the radeonhd drivers. I don't want to buy the mobo just to find it useless. Anyone have any idea? Cheers, Paul. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: radeonhd+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: radeonhd+help@opensuse.org
