I was able to get the Radeon 2400 HD Pro working with the latest driver and adding the 'Option "HDP" "swap"' line in the device section of the xorg.conf file.
Very well. I just pushed a quirk entry for your card into git, can you please verify that latest git works without option HDP for you? If possible, please verify also whether all outputs (digital or analog) work (one at a time).
So far we mostly saw broken HDP pin descriptions for R5xx. HD 2400 is R6xx which uses a different connector table format. tgilbert1: could you please run the server with -logverbose 7 and send me the log file? Also having your BIOS may be helpful to find the problem. Could you please run rhd_conntest
-d to dump the BIOS and email it to me? Thanks! Cheers, Egbert.
