out of ignorance (and guessing) i downloaded the git branch r6xx-support and added this line to /shared-core/drm_pciids.txt: 0x1002 0x9612 CHIP_RV620|RADEON_IS_MOBILITY|RADEON_NEW_MEMMAP "ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3300 Series" compiled and loaded it into the kernel. i based my guessing on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radeon_R600 http://wiki.x.org/wiki/radeonhd : "R600 style hardware: R6xx, RV6xx, RS780, M64 and up" it seems to load quite ok but when i started compiz-fusion-icon i got a white screen. every thing was still functional... the cursor changed when i moved over different windows, applications were running. if i did not start compiz but still loaded the radeon kernel module every thing would run slower than it used to work when i was not using the radeon.ko and drm.ko modules. just using radeonhd_drv.so works fine. i guess i will wait for the official code :-) btw, 3d accel works with the fglrx driver but i do not use it and would rather wait for the os dri kernel module :-) thank you for your help and support !

i have an hp tx2520ej (tx2500 series) tablet with ati radeonhd 3200 i use latest git head and it seems to work fine. no DRM kernel driver seems to be available at this time so no 3D DRI (as you can see from the log) :-(
There is no DRM or accel 3D support for this HW, yet. It's in the works.
Cheers, Egbert.
