Currently you have the monitor connected via DVI. I need the log when it is connected via adapter (i.e. when it fails to detect).
This is when it's connected via the adapter. I have no DVI capable displays all are VGA only and one of them connects through DVI<->VGA adapter. For some reason it gets detected as digital while it should be analog.
Then the AtomBIOS connector table seems to be... weird.
Can you try
Option "HPD" "off"
in xorg.conf? I assume your adapter triggers HPD, thus the driver
assumes that the digital output has to get active...
