tried, nothing changed. I have another issue. It doesn't react at all. I press ctrl+alt+F1 and nothing happens. No switch, no blank screen, nothing...

Then your issue is different to mine. Sorry I thought it would be worth a try. As a side note for the developers: adjusting brightness level doesn´t work here either. But as Luc already mentioned this will be dealt with later. Henry

Hi, I tried new driver after few days and switch to console (ctrl+alt+FXX) stoped working and still not working adjusting brightness level on my IBM T60 (X1300) - using Fn key(thinkpad-acpi stuff) Both were working in past using radeonhd driver. So I just want to let you now about it.
Cheers kapo
You probably experience the same issue as I have on my z61p.
If you are able to, try
git revert 292a4f4ba057d57d388da1cd5ee7e5f9f53176cc
on your local clone to see if switching starts working again. This did the trick for me. (I had to reboot after make; make install to get it working - a simple restart of the xserver didn´t work.)
