Hi Luc,
Are you really attaching your VGA cable straight to the card, no DVI-VGA adapter in between?
You've reminded me that there is an option to connect the VGA monitor through the DVI-VGA adapter.
I've disconnected the monitor from the VGA and connected it through the DVI-VGA adapter and the driver starts to work! So, the only direct VGA connection doesn't work, connection through the DVI-VGA adapter works fine.
The applied is a successive X log.
Anyway, there are two other unclear points.
- 1 - Looking to the log, the driver uses only 256 Mb of 512 Mb total video RAM. Is it fine? - 2 - The direct rendering is not supported. Does the driver support for direct rendering, and if not, will it be implemented in the future?

Can you tell me what this card is called, what brand it is? Can you also send me a copy of your BIOS? You can use rhd_conntest -d for that. Thanks, Luc Verhaegen.
