current TW update fails with pyhon dependency
Morning, is this a temporary issue? Problem: 1: the installed python311-numba-0.60.0-1.2.x86_64 requires '(python311-numpy >= 1.22 with python311-numpy < 2.1)', but this requirement cannot be provided deleted providers: python311-numpy-2.0.0-1.2.x86_64 not installable providers: python311-numpy1-1.26.4-1.1.x86_64[repo-oss] Solution 1: Following actions will be done: deinstallation of python311-pandas-performance-2.2.2-ku.18.1.noarch deinstallation of python311-numba-0.60.0-1.2.x86_64 Solution 2: deinstallation of python311-numpy-2.0.0-1.2.x86_64 Solution 3: keep obsolete python311-numpy-2.0.0-1.2.x86_64 Solution 4: break python311-numba-0.60.0-1.2.x86_64 by ignoring some of its dependencies Cheers Axel
Hi Axel, Yes it is temporary, but it will persist for a few weeks: https://github.com/numba/numba/issues/9708 In the meantime all packages depending (and I really mean depending, not using it optionally!) on numba will have to be content with numpy1 (or an old numpy 2.0, but that one is not in Tumbleweed anymore).
