Hi all, The openSUSE Build Service Team has decided to rename its cutting-edge packaging- and distribution build technology to Open Build Service. The new name, while maintaining the well-known OBS acronym, signals its open and cross-distribution nature. The newe website will be openbuildservice.org and is already up. The announcement can be found on http://news.opensuse.org/2011/05/26/opensuse-renames-obs/ On a second note, SUSE will start to provide OBS Developer Services starting from the 2.3 release onwards. It offers support for configuration and setup as well as code fixes. SUSE will be working with partners to enable and back them to offer implementation and consulting services.
